Um, OMF'ing G!! New York Dolls meets Fangoria (the group from Madrid) and I'm in love! I'm totally creaming over this band that sings about painting their faces with makeup and being famous rockstars. These lovely dolls are from Madrid, Spain and their news letter showed up in my email this morning but I'm not sure how. You gotta check out their songs "Nancys Rubias" and "Salvame", they are super guay!! "Nancys Rubias website"

Think of early Sugarcubes with a twist of New Wave, techno-y, Power pop, and a mix of Spanish and English lyrics. Their album, "Subliminal Kill," was introduced to me by a friend who saw them in London last week and she said I had to hear it! Some key tracks include: Telephone Dilemma # 10, Transpira Lo #2, Anfefetaminado #5, Santiago Song #8. Panico is on the French record label Tiger Sushi, go figure. Check out their site
